The fly fishing on the upper Kern River in the Golden Trout Wilderness is legendary. Most anglers are in search of the native Kern River Rainbow Trout which can get very big in size. They are also in search of the two other Southern Sierra native trout, the Golden Trout and the Little Kern Golden Trout. All our pack trips include all meals, packers, cooks, fly fishing guide and pack animals.You will need to bring your fly fishing gear and sleeping gear. All our trips are a 4 person minimum and take place from July through September. If you are a single angler and wish to go on one of these pack trips, simply contact us and let us know when you can go and we will put you on a trip that is available.
