Good fun. (Read 844 times)

Hoppytsw Silver Member Posts: 208 Gender:	Good fun. Jul 6^th, 2012, 7:43pm I hiked to a stretch I hadn't seen in a while and had a fun day playing in the water. The fishing seemed solid early and late, but with the water down I already notice things fading off in the middle of the day.

Coming out and asking question like that will not get you answers. People here are not going to give out hotspots. Post your own adventures, add to forum. If you fish some of these places enough you will get an idea where they are and will have your own spots you will find. Fish will move around in a river a hotspot one day will not necessarily be hot another day. The key is not where someone caught fish, but more what area were the fish in the river: pools, riffles, pocket water.

I am not a rocket scientist but with my limited knowledge of Kern I can figure out the general area he was. But, I am interested if fish were taking drys or nymphs. If he used nymphs were the fish taking them deep.
Some days you will find the fish, sometimes you will not. As you fish water more often you will get a better sense of what works, or you go to Kern Fly shop and ask them.
