Hello All,

My name is Eric and I am from Lemoore Ca. I was refered to this forum from my good friend Scott who you all might know as troutanator. Well a little about me i been fishing my whole life mostly trout and bass with a spinning rod and casting rod, but started to get into fly fishing about a year ago. I have a 8'6" 6wt Temple Fork Outfitters fly rod with a White River reel they said it was a good starter setup. I mostly fished the Carson River up north near Markleeville and the Kings River. So you all know what i am looking forward to in this forum is to learn.  I am heading to Key West in the future and would like to catch some good fish on my fly rod. Well i just wanted to say hello to all and i will keep in touch with my catches i get in my Trips hope you all have a great day.

Eric

That's a good intro, Eric, I mean, "Kid" Grin.  Like I mentioned earlier, there is a plethora of information within these posts that will guide you towards a bright future of fly fishing.  Now, stop buying bait!!! Roll Eyes  And I will be watching the Salt Water posts for your fly caught fishies in Key West next week.

Kid, you mean the the "Hogfish Restaurant" on Stock Island, the next island north of Key West.  And it is a local's favorite as well as one of mine.   The Hog's Breath Saloon is on Duval Street and has the nude bar on the third floor.  Remember? Grin  My favorite right on the water is "Half Shell Raw Bar".  We eat there often, and you can watch 100# tarpon lazily hanging out just below the restaurant's windows waiting for hand-outs.

Jeremy, you get 2 fer 1 margaritas and you can enjoy the sunshine (au natural) on the top floor.  Umm, there's no food, though.  Oh, well! Grin

I have actually eaten in there before (bottom floor) when I was in Key West on Det., and I remember it being good.  Unfortunately I never made it upstairs.  It would appear as if I was misinformed of all that the Hog's Breathe Saloon had to offer!   Shocked
