I was wondering if anyone could pass some info along as to the conditions on the South Fork near MM. I am heading up there in a few days for a little fly fishing and scouting for deer season. I will be hiking in passed the fish dam. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good one!

Wow water levels look low.........quite sad. Let's hope for an early and heavy winter this year.

Actually....those pics are in June.  Some are saying high country waters present as they might in September or October in a normal year....which is pretty skinny.  The coming heat wave and August heat will continue to take their toll.  Talked to some packer friends and they said it was the driest they've seen in ten years with many smaller waters already drying up.

Seems like that.  At the opening there really was no snow left.  Hope there is no major fire this year, it could get pretty bad.

Less than 10cfs at Onyx. That is bad. I sent you a detailed PM of the X10 area for hunting. I did not get a tag after scouting it in May. Good luck is all I can tell you. This is the worst water year for the SFK in like 45 years. I would not fish it. Hunting will be very tough. Bring your hiking boots.
