CFR Rod Donation Head Count

Hey, I need a head count as to who is still in on the CFR rod donation. I know several of you have had to re-think the donation due to life getting in the way, but we need to wrap up this donation. Chiaki plans on being up on the Kern sometime in August, so that would be a great time to finish this off (hint, hint). That way he can take the rods home and it saves us shipping. Sooooooo who's still in?
Chris has 3 at the house with one on the way. I have mine to take over to him so that will be at least 5. With the switch rod being done, the bench looks a little bare with only 5 builds going on. I might be able to slip in another build? After all do rod building junkies really need a reason to build? Come on, put those talents to use and build a rod. Batson RX6 blank, low budget handle and seat and bam. Some lucky CFR participant get a custom rod. Add a rod tube and you are good to go.
Besides it will get the juices flowing for your swap rod.
Straight guides and smooth finishes,
Pete

Hey Pete,
I had to go through another supplier but I will be working on the rod soon. I have some eyes and a handle coming my way for this.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Gary. What kind of rod builder are you that you only have one build going at a time? A true junkie will have at least 3 builds going at once. There is nothing more fun than trying to figure out which components are going on what rod
.
I know getting all your components has been an up hill battle. You made a committment to CFR and are seeing it through, thank you.

Lets see.
I have my brothers build,
CFR
and I have the Rod Swap.
At least I made sure I put the components for one rod separate for the other rods.

Pete,
1 down, 9 to go. I'm keeping track on the "Whats on your Bench" thread. I kinda have an idea of the components I have, but then I find additional stuff. I "found" the 9 ft. 4 wt. Z-Axis blank for the Heads and Tails winner. I put on silver U 24 and it's being stream tested in Montana. Next is the CFR rod. Just need to finish applying finish.
Thanks,
Chiaki

Lefty,
People kept saying "I need more time". So I gave them more time. Chris still has the rods and will take care of the judging after we offically close the donation drive. One reason I am dragging my feet is to get more rods donated to CFR. Since they aren't having any events until 2013, there wasn't a rush on finishing up.
That being said, it isn't fair to the rest of you folks who got their rods in when we first ask. For that, I am sorry
. I will set a final drop dead date soon. Probably shortly after the Rendezvous.
Pete
