does anybody know of an instructor/guide up in the Umpqua area of Oregon? I have some very dear friends that recently moved up there and want to try flyfishing the legendary waters. They have zero experience with fly fishing. They both fish but in the large salt water variety. I can't make it up there myself this year so any help wpuld be appreciated. I am hoping to get them into it and by that get their two daughters into it. Aged 9 and 11...a perfect age!

I fished the N Umpqua with a guide who's first name is Bob. I can't remember his last name off the top of my head, but I'm sure I have it at home, I will try to find it and repost. He was recommended by the guy who owns the "Blue Heron Fly Shop" on the N Umpqua. If all else fails give him a call (I think his name is Bill) and he will recommend someone.

Try these guys. They are in Eugene. If they don't fish that area, the will know people that do.
