I almost hesitate to post about the river fishing so well. I went out Thursday and had a great time. I didnt take alot of pics, but did manage to catch many fish. Here is one of the biggest.
here is a pic of the bendo in the rod when I was fighing this fish. He wore my arm out!
I tried taking some cool shots. What do you think?
I hope you all enjoy.

Success in debate is not getting your point across or persuading others. It is measured by ones ability to see others' points of veiw as well.

Rob,
It certainly seems that you had a great time on the river. Shucks, I wish I was fishing on your river rather than the lakes of Arizona. However, household chores brought me to AZ, not the fishing. It is nice that 3 or 4 fishing options are available within 10 miles.
Keep up the catching. I may have to put in some travel time to fish running water.

If you're practicing catch and release, what difference does it make for the size of the fish you land.

I'll bet you had the river to yourself on Thursday. We arrived at the river and there were fishermen everywhere. We still managed to squeeze in with feeling like we were in intruding. BTW, that's a nice one, Rob.

that's a nice Fattie Rob! I'm hoping to get a day fishing in on Spring Break...that should be fun to be on the river with no one else about!

People say that families who sit down to dinner have kids more apt to talk about their lives. We're doubly blessed to have one that out-fishes us and then brags about it to us and her friends!!

Nice work!
I was upstream of where the river splits for 3 hrs Wednesday afternoon, and only saw 1 other person.
Had quite the afternoon,,,,,,
Very good fishing to be had right now.
