Olive Branch wrap

I have seen this wrap on a different forum. Then to make matters worse Longball had to show me one he did. So me being me, I had to try it. This is the first quickie attempt, not so hot but I think it has some potential to be a cool wrap. Who knows once I figure out the technique, it may show up on a rod somewhere about late Sept.
.
Ya, pic is the same quality you have come to expect from me.

Looks good, Pete. Now do a pineapple knot with spanish ring knots at each end.

Very cool Pete.
So many wraps, so little knowledge.

Saw that on RBD and it looks good, Yours looks just as good and once you do it a few more times it will be even better.

Thanks Jon. It isn't too hard after you figure out how the secure the wrap as you do it. After I get her completely figured out, it may become an article for the Rod Building part of the SSFFC Newsletter
.

Very nice for a first try Pete. I tried that after seeing it on another forum but would not think of posting mine.

Ya, thanks to you pal, I'm all screwed up trying to tighten up the look of this new wrap
. Just what I needed another twist on wrapping

Very pretty, Pete! Something for us newbies to look forward to. I just ordered some purple and silver thread for my new black CN blanks. That pattern would look real good. One of these days!
