00-reel???

Hi all...well this summer I have made my mind up...in mid July and August I'm not going to be fighting the heat and people witch should cover almost all the 20 miles of the upper kern. I used this as an excuse for me to buy a sage TXL-F 00wt to fish some of the smaller H2o in the area. I have yet to buy a reel. Dose any one out there have any advise. Also I have found some waters on a map I'm intrested in trying out...is there any where you all would advise me to try. I don't need your special go to hole just a small bit of water that won't have 50 people with night crawlers and bobbers killing off all the fish. I do 97% of my bissness with Guy and would like to buy a reel from the shop so any reels he distributes would be best. Pleas send me PM's on any fishen holes you may be willing to offer me. Thanks for every ones help.

The big crowds are close to major roads on any weekend, and especially holiday weekends. Don't worry, there is a lot of quiet places in the area. Ants

Agreed! Nobody wants to hike up the side of a mountain to a distant creek and take their limit of wild trout just to hike back to the car with (less than ) pan sized trout. I've spent many, many days fishing creeks in the Sierras and never saw another human, except Rob, or wife, or daughter, or any number of fishing buddies. Grin

Usually, you'll have the area to yourself, but it'll take a hike to reach those spots.
