Here she is so far. Boy does 5 minute epoxy go off fast Shocked  I was able to get the reel seat and cork on after I found my spline of the blank. Pete, you are right, it's much harder to find the spline on a four piece. After marking all four pieces, I then put the pieces together and checked the spline again. With the pieces together and lined up the rod jumped to the spline with ease so I felt much better about my markings.

I was torn between a black reel seat and a bright nickel and I thought the black would be more stealth and less chance at spooking the fish.  
OK I admit I don't have a clue, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it Tongue

Very clean looking!!!!  Thanks for keeping us up to date on your build.  You didn't feel any pressure working with the 5 min epoxy did you?  Wink Wink
