Ok I'm limiting this to 4 people.
You tie 24 flies and each person gets 6 tied by you.
Flies are due at Rendezvous.
the point is to fill your box with enough of each pattern to fish an afternoon or so.
I prefer if you only tie one pattern to get maximum affect.
People signed up are:
1. Myself - Caddis Dry
2. Anayalator 22 - yellow sallie dry
3. Liam - Knotty Nymph
4. Spencer - Parachute Adams
Two more slots available,
Anyone?

If fly fishermen cannot have the best, we will take the least, and fish for minnows if nothing better is to be had.

Cris,
Actually, I will not be tying the TK for this swap.
I will tie a nymph, which I suspect will be very productive for someone during the 'vous.
I'll call it the TKN, or.......The Knotty Nymph
You'll get to see a preview at the trials next weekend.

Classic name. Very Funny! I had a feeling you would do a czech nymph... I'm really stoked about that.
Cant wait.

Cris,
Let's bump this swap to six people and keep the flies at two dozen. That way Ryan and one more can jump in. Each tyer will get four of each fly.

I hear you guys, but this is an annual swap and I love the format so I'm going to stick to it. Last year we did 5 and I thought it was too much in the end ... so I vowed to do 4 people only.
Ryan, start a swap... it will fill up quick. You can do the same format and you'll love it.
when you get 4 rows of 6 flies each, you'll be stoked.
Have fun,
Cris

I tied flies with Drewski Saturday night. When I sat down at the table I just wasn’t feeling the original fly I wanted to tie so I started tying what seemed right at the moment and decided to change my fly to a caddis pattern which has been working for me lately and on a lot of different rivers. I ‘came up’ with the color scheme although the materials I use are basic so it’s likely that it’s been done before… I have yet to name this fly. I tied 6 of them and man do they look yummy.
So we have:
Cris – Caddis Dry
Drew – Yellow Sallie Dry
Liam – The Knotty Nymph
Spencer – Parachute Adams
Man alive!
That’s going to be 4 rows of killer flys. 6 caddis drys, 6 yellow sallies, 6 Knotty Nymphs, 6 Parachute Adams.
I hope more folks start doing this format... I enjoy it a lot and it's a great way to fill your box! it offers a different type of incentive and is a great compliment to the typical swap format.
