Since Shane posted Jailbreak, Natives & Bamboo (
http://www.kernriverflyfishing.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1280159700
) featuring "Gentle Whisper" I thought it was time for some close ups. Shane knew exactly what he wanted and it shows in the rod design. Rod is rated as a 4wt., but I am betting it will throw a 3 just as well. Very slow flowing action.

Engraved butt cap so we can't steal the rod from him
Antique Gold silk wraps with Java brown trim.

Yes! It's a beauty
Named her Gentle Whisper after a reference to God in the Bible and it sure lives up to it's name! So quiet and gentle but still has a backbone. I've tried 3wt DT and 4wt WF lines and it throws both very gracefully, much further than anticipated, and more than you need. The whole rod flows from the old school cork grip design to the tip. Simple and clean is what I like but Pete took it to another level with his eye for colors and putting it all together!
Thanks Pete!

Pete - As always, another beautiful example of working
art
.
Shane - Any chance you'll let anyone else cast that beauty?
Congrats to both of you.
