Kern Water Bank Sued

Several environmental groups & sports fishing groups sued alleging the transfer of California water rights and assets was done in violation of California Constitution. Wonder what the effect could be on the salmon and other fisheries? I always wondered why all our water eneded up in private hands of billionaires.
What I have read on this is 2 different stories- 180* apart, so I don't really know where the truth is. Hopefully someone here can add to this and explain more. Just seems to me to be a water grab by some rich, connected people.
From various articles over last few years I have found that Stewart Resnick of Beverly Hills is the largest owner in Kern Water Bank (through his ownership of Parmount Farms) and that Resnick is a close friend & big political donor of Sen. Fieinstein and Nancy Pelosi. Several articles state that Dick Blum (Feinstein's husband) and several of Pelosi's children are shareholders in the companies that own almost all of the Kern Water Bank (Roll Corp, a subsidary Paramount Farming, and Tejon Ranch )
Here is link to explanation on the lawsuit and history of the Kern Water Bank.

How can I know if I am a good fisherman, or if I really only catch the dumbest trout?

This is an excellent link! Good research, well done!
Lots of us don't realize all of the many issues surrounding water in California.
