River Clean -UP  (LOWER)

"7th Annual Lower Kern Clean-up Day Sponsored by
the Kern Valley River Council and local merchants.
 
The seventh annual Lower Kern River clean-up will
 be held on July 10th this year.

 
Meeting time is 08:30 at Miracle day use area.
 
Shuttles will be provided by local whitewater  
outfitters."
 
 
"Tri-tip dinner will be provided with entertainment from
local blue grass band “Out Of The blue”. We will be cleaning the shore  
line between Lake Isabella and Democrat take out.
 
All private boaters are encouraged to get in on  
the fun;
 
Individuals who need a spot in a raft can contact Brian Cosgrove at
760-549-3760 or at blasttmann@aol.com
and I will do our very best to get you a spot in a raft."

Darn... I'll be out in the rough.
 
This sounds like an awesome event ... blue grass band and all.
 
Wish I could make it, being involved in river clean up is a very rewarding thing in itself.  With the Tri-tip dinner and the musical entertainment this event should be awesome.
 
Cool deal man, I'm sorry to miss this one.
