Rod case

Just finished a presentation case for the "Jack's Helping Hand" charity rod I made. Made it out of Oak with brass hardware and box joints. I am having brass plaques of "Renaissance Rods" and "Jack's Helping Hand" made to install. Took forever to build the box joint jig. I went with 3/16" fingers. Getting them to fit properly took quite a while. Glad I took the time to make the joints, they were worth it Wink

I really hated to part with that rod, but it is going to a great cause. The brass plaques really finished it off. Already started another case for a three piece rod going to a worthy cause. These cases might become an option for my bamboo builds. Pete
