Sand Walking Outing (New and Upcoming)

Lots of sand, lots of walking. Wink

I know that it's summertime and that people are busy with life and all that Jazz. I hope this outing finds itself fitting perfectly within your busy summer schedule... Come on out if that's the case ... and if you have plans ... you can always cancel them and come with me anyway... it's a win win. Cheesy

I already booked a group Campsight for this outing at Pumice Flat Cool

... I tried to get Agnew Meadows but it was full...

So this will be July 24th and 25th and the area should be exploding Shocked

with it's transition from winter to summer...

My plan is to drive up there friday, set-up camp, go fishing for the evening, fish all day Saturday and some on Sunday before heading home.

I'd definitely like to do a potluck Saturday night which makes for a simple and tasty feast. So far my Portabellas have been a hit with hungry fishermen... and Since we are driving to our campsight, people are free to bring the kitchen sink. Huh

I've been told that I'm in for a real treat on this river, and I hope some of you can come along and experience the magic of 'sand walking'.

Looking forward to it, PM me or post here to sign up. So far on the outings this year, we've had a lot of really awesome experiences... Several 'firsts', and some new Personal Bests. Some fine food and good times. Can't wait to see whats in store for this one. Huh

He constantly wants to tie flies wich im glad to help. so hopfully we will see you on the water! John

Abso-friggin-lutely you can come on out! It'd be a super cool to have you ... leave the kids with Guy and tell him you're going fishing! Wink

Then you can go home and brag about all the fish you caught while guy was working and being Mr mom... Man that's a funny senario to entertain... classic.

We have a group camp booked right on the river... just wake up and go fishing! Huh

It's been a beautiful run in the 'outings sector' let's keep it going full steam.

come on along... this time I plan not to forget my guitar! SHould be a nice night at the campfire.

I 100% agree. He sure has been doing these outings off the hook. Although I have not been able to attend I get to hear all the tall tales first hand once he returns. Just wanted to say THANKS Cris for stepping up and taking on this task and hitting the ground running. You sure didn't mess around when you took on this Huge task. also leading us on the WF San Gabriel project. BIG PROPS TO YOU MAN!!!!!! I think for sure I'm gettiing a trip ticket for this one.
