Quote from Converted on Feb 14th, 2008, 9:41am:
THIS SWAP IS CLOSED

The rules for this swap are basically very simple.  The tier must tie a fly that he/she has caught TROUT on while fishing either the upper or lower Kern River.  ANY FLY you choose (that has caught trout) dry, nymph, emerger, wet, you choose.  Each tier will tie 10 flies (10 flies of whatever pattern you chose) and get them to me by April 1st.  When sending your flies please enclose a self address stamped envelope that can be used to mail your flies back to you.  As always, please add a toe tag to your flies and send them in a crush proof container of some sort.  Below are the names of participants and flies they will be tying:

Converted                           ROBO PT Nymph
NervousWater                     parachute hare's ear
Ibrb                                     TBD
fishinXJ                                Kern River Emerger
Phelps Bros                         rubber-legged copper john
fflutterffly                             The Fox Tail Squirrel Nymph.
Eric2                                    Pheasant Tail Nymph
Wiredog                              double bead pheasant tail nymph
haramic                               parachute Royal Wulff
Troutinator                          TBD

If you haven't chosen a pattern yet, please decide and let me know so I can update the info.  Also, when you're ready to mail your flies I'll PM you my address.  LET THE TYING BEGIN!!!!!!

If we're all still in, will May 15th work for everyone for having your flies tied and mailed to me??????

There is a setting on Photobucket that allows you to determine the utilimate size of the file.  Set it smaller.

Or select the smallest size to view and copy the address for the smallest size.

Or before you import the picture into Photobucket, reduce the image size in a program like Photoshop to around 640 pixels in one dimension.

Wildman,
I used the auto resizer and it transfers fine but on the manual resizer it downsizes on Photo bucket but doesn't transfer over to this site in the smaller size.
JSo I'll ust have to remember to use the auto from now on
thanks
