KERN RIVER FLY FISHING GUIDE SERVICE
Sergio has been fishing the Southern Sierra and Kern River his entire life.Over the years, we have seen him become one of the true masters of the Kern River. When he's not at work, he is usually out fishing the many beautiful creeks and rivers throughout the Sierra, particularly the Kern River. The Kern River has a special distinction of being his “home waters” . The beautiful scenery, winding rapids, and the Kern River bows always keep Sergio “hooked.” Sergio is a member of Southern Sierra Fly Fishers Club and a Search and Rescue EMT and instructor with Kern Valley Search and Rescue. His humble approach to fly fishing and teaching others is a quality we appreciate here at Kern River Fly Shop. Next time you're in the shop and Sergio's there, make sure and say hi to him. He might ask you to go fishing with him.

Bill and his father, Bill Darbee Sr, have been proud to continue this legacy of the East Coast to the West Coast.
During his law enforcement career, fly fishing started out as a great stress reliever but became and remained his passion for many years. His love for the outdoors is infectious and highlights his love for everything nature provides!
Bill attended the Guy Jeans Guide Training School in Kernville, California. He loves chasing all species a body of water can produce. He was introduced to fly fishing the surf and is amazed at the fishery along the California Coast.
